| Job Desc: |
The Training & Development Specialist II will design and deliver training programs, primarily related to aircraft structural maintenance and modification. The development of tests, visual aids and criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities are additional responsibilities. The Trainer must keep abreast of current training and development research; learning theory, motivation theory, new materials, methods, and techniques. The trainer will evaluate and develop in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, prepare personnel for positions of greater responsibility, and increase employee effectiveness in present assignments. May evaluate and oversee contractors or vendors to develop and administer training programs. May be responsible for development of e-learning programs. Will demonstrate verbal, non-verbal, written, and active listening skills through effective training delivery. Ability to convert ideas and concepts into an effective combination of audio and visual impressions. Other duties as assigned.

| Requirements: |
An accredited Bachelor’s degree in an Aviation or applicable field + 2 years experience as Airframe Structural Instructor required.With an accredited Associates degree in Aviation or applicable field + 2 years experience as Airframe Structural Instructor, + 4 years hands-on aircraft maintenance experience required.With High School diploma + 2 years experience as Airframe Structural Instructor, + 8 years hands-on aircraft maintenance experience required.Must have an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office to include Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.Strong communication skills; verbal, non-verbal, and written. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, influence learning, and foster a team environment. Demonstrated ability to execute short and long-range plans/goals to project and develop Aircraft Structural Instruction programs and projects. Must wear approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as applicable. Must be able to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required. Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.The essential physical requirements of the position will be reviewed with the applicant during the interview. |
