| Job Desc: |
The successful candidate will be responsible for championing, leading and implementing lean enterprise initiatives to eliminate waste and reduce costs in all manufacturing and support functions. Candidates must have a proven record as a lean leader, with significant and measurable improvement results. Key responsibilities: • Manages, develops, organizes, coordinates and facilitates lean enterprise training and kaizen events to include but not limited to Lean Enterprise Assessment, Office and Shop Floor Kaizen, 3P, Distribution Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Total Productive Maintenance. • Defines and executes lean projects with minimal disruption to the business and customers. Spend significant time with organization at work-task level to define improvements. • Serves as a catalyst for successful and sustained lean implementation. • Applies breadth of knowledge of factory operations and supply chain to implement methods for reducing inventory, improving throughput, and improving delivery performance. • Delivers technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. • Represents the organization to external customers / suppliers as the prime Lean contact on projects. • Guides the successful completion of major Lean projects and functions in a leadership role. • Active participation in company improvement initiatives, including occasional support of other divisions within the company.

Qualifications:• Four year degree in business or related field.• Five to ten plus years of leadership experience within manufacturing companies, preferably in a plant setting.• Strong communication (verbal and written) analytical skills• 10% travel may be required.• Salary depends on experience and qualifications.• Competitive benefits package offered after completion of orientation periods. |
