Summary
Represents Quality funtion to insure the highest quality of paint and interior finishing. Provide Quality interpretation of requirements. Ensures adherence to company and regulatory requirements. Works closely with paint and interior vendors to continually improve finished product. Peforms analysis, tests and process audits to ensure highest quality levels are realized. Provides oversight and assistance to Operations, Engineering and Procurement in addressing vendor improvement activities. Performs various types of analysis to ensure specified quality goals are achieved.
Duties and Responsibilities.
Inspects paint finishing and interior finishing to insure customer satisfaction.
Develops procedures as required.
Recommends improvements.
Develops quantifiable standards and measurement techniques for rating overall finish quality.
Develops performance metrics and trend analysis.

| Requirements: |
High School Diploma.
3+ years of experience.
Fundamental understanding of a quality system and its development, documentation and implementation to domestic and international standards or requirements.
Thorough understanding of problem solving and quality improvement tools and techniques.
Can develop and implement quality programs, including tracking, analyzing, reporting and problem solving.
Can identify, describe and apply elements of the corrective action process including problem identification, failure analysis, root cause analysis, problem correction, recurrence control, and verification effectiveness. |
