Powerplant Fleet Coordinator
Full-time, Exempt
Job Location: Moyock, NC
Job Description Summary
The Powerplant Fleet Coordinator is technically responsible for the research, development, modification and reconfiguration of aircraft powerplants (including APU’s) as necessary to ensure safety, adherence to FAA requirements and airworthiness of Company aircraft; duties to include but not limited to:
• Oversee scheduling and compliance of related Powerplant and APU AD’s, EO’s and SB’s
• Interface with Powerplant and APU OEM manufactures on component reliability and product improvement
• Evaluate Powerplant problems on in service aircraft and suggest corrective actions.
• Attend daily operational meetings
• Oversee each engine shop visit and manage the relationship with the engine service providers to insure best value is realized for the Company.
• Interface with Maintenance Planning and Logistics to schedule work based upon engine maintenance programs
• Oversee engine-related configuration inputs
• Recommend cost saving measures to engine maintenance programs
• Coordinate special inspection programs with Engine and APU manufactures
• Stay current with industry and Engine specific issues
• Perform other duties as assigned

| Requirements: |
Required Education/Experience • Must possess a background in Aircraft Maintenance and Powerplant systems. • Must be experienced in the principles of the Borescope inspection; Honeywell TPE 331, GE CT7 Series, P&WC, P&WC P121, RR250 and / or Turmo IV experience is desired however equivalent engine type experience will be acceptable.• Must be a self-starter and responsible individual that can work with little or no direct supervision.• Must be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills, a history of making deliverable deadlines, good organizational and presentation skills • Must possess, strong computer skills in the basic Microsoft Office Suite- Excel, Word, Access, etc.• Must be able to make sound decisions, develop and communicate effective solutions, negotiate with and influence various groups including executive management.• Working knowledge of the maintenance sections of the certificate holder’s maintenance manual, the operations specifications, the provisions and applicable parts of FAR Part 135.• Must have experience with working from blueprint drawings, diagram, specifications, service manuals, sketches, templates, and other incomplete data.Licenses/ Certifications• Current FAA issued Mechanic certificate with both Airframe & Powerplant ratings is required.
