Please be advised of the following position opening within AAR Airlift: NDT Level II Technician Full-time, Non-Exempt Job Location: Afghanistan: Job Description Summary The NDT Level II Technician is responsible for performing inspections using the various NDT methods as applicable (X-Ray, Penetrant, Eddy Current, Ultrasonic and Magnetic Particle Testing) to include but not limited to: • Processing, inspecting, and evaluating surface and subsurface discontinuities and accepting, rejecting, or reworking hardware. • Certifies product that is in conformance with specifications and maintains traceability to such certification as is applicable. • Creates NDT techniques. • Perform penetrant, eddy current, ultrasonic, X-ray, and magnetic particle inspections and interprets the results. • Performs preventative maintenance and calibrations on NDT equipment. • Properly processes, sorts, and verifies X-ray film. • Ensures paperwork is properly done. • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

| Requirements: |
Required Education/Experience • 3 years of required experience.• Must be a US Citizen.• Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance.Licenses/Certifications• High School Diploma or GED required.• NDT level II certification.• Valid Drivers License.• Valid US Passport.• FAA A&P certificate desired.Work is performed in an austere environment. Loud work environment. Requires frequent travel to Afghanistan, West Africa or other location where aircraft are based.
