Job Desc: JOB SUMMARY


The Quality Manager is responsible for the effective management of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure the system is established, maintained and improved upon. Will be the management representative responsible for compliance of products and processes to ensure safe and reliable products. A key internal consultant to the leadership of the business on all Quality matters.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES


    1. Quality Assurance Inspector for turbine engines before they are returned to service.
    2. Perform complete airworthiness directive (AD) and service bulletin (SB) evaluation on turbine engines.
    3. Manage the daily activities of the organization ensuring adequate resources are in place for compliance.
    4. Provides Quality leadership/guidance on all QMS matters as well as product compliance to the facility.
    5. Manages Company drug and alcohol testing program.
    6. Maintain Customer Aircraft Records
    7. Primary contact for the FAA

QUALIFICATIONS

    1. A Four Year Degree or 5 years equivalent experience
    2. Experience in ISO 9001-2000
    3. A strong background in QMS and application of measurement, analysis & tools.
    4. Demonstrated problem solving skills.
    5. Good interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.
    6. Strong technical & analytical skills.
    7. Ability to multi task and work independently without significant oversight.
    8. Strong leadership and communication skills.

Requirements: Preference will be given to candidates that have worked in a turbine shop environment. In particular work performed on Honeywell LTS101, Pratt & Whitney Canada and Rolls Royce Model 250 products.Engineering Degree with a DAR background.
