| Job Desc: |
• Arranges for or performs required inspections (RII)
• Arranges for or reviews maintenance documents to ensure that all RII items have been marked “RII”. This may include any complicated tasks whether or not the task is listed specifically in the RII list
• Arranges for or performs final review of maintenance documents; make necessary flight logbook entries and airworthiness release
• Oversee aircraft inspections and ensure a high standard of quality is maintained at all times with regard to thoroughness of inspections, documentation of findings, and adherence to technical data
• Perform on the Job Training OJT functions with new or inexperienced personnel
• Ensure that the technical data being used is of the latest revision
• Ensure that parts installed on the aircraft have had a receiving inspection and are tagged appropriately
• Responsible for determining test flight requirements following maintenance and releasing aircraft for test flight purposes
• Ensure that calibrated tools used to maintain the aircraft are current and tagged with the date of calibration/recalibration
• Ensure that consumable materials such as sealant, paint, adhesives, etc. are within the manufacturers’ shelf life requirement and are labeled with the date of expiry
• Participate in the internal audit process as directed by the Quality Control Manager
• Ensure Inspection continuity on any incomplete work
• Ensures compliance with weight and balance requirements to include maintenance of equipment lists
• Perform additional duties as assigned

| Requirements: |
Current FAA issued Mechanic certificate with both Airframe & Powerplant ratings is required,• 5 years of Part 121 or 135 maintenance experience• Familiarity with inspection methods, techniques and equipment used in their area of responsibility• Previous RII Authority and experience preferred |
