A global aerospace defense contractor located in Mississippi, Stark Aerospace currently
has 2 divisions.
Our Unmanned Aerial Systems division (UAS) is producing the Hunter MQ-5B for the U.S. Army. It has tens of thousands of hours in Afghanistan and Iraq in support of the GWOT. We are currently expanding our UAS flight operations and facilities to meet increased demand in the American market.
The Electro-Optics (EO) division performs assembly on new TAMAM POP (Plug-in Optronic Payloads) 200 and 300 series payloads and performs repairs on these units used on AAI Shadow UAS‘s in Afghanistan and Iraq. These POP&rsquo s are also used on law enforcement helicopters and for other surveillance needs.
Another product of Stark is the Heron MALE UAV. With the Heron‘s 550 lb multi-sensor payload ability, 30,000ft altitude, up to 40+ hours endurance, and over 30,000 flight hours, this UAV has superior reconnaissance and surveillance capabilities.
We are broadening our capabilities through increased U.S. based engineering research support.
Provide leadership to position the operations to advance the company‘s mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability and growth in the UAS Production and Operations Divisions. Department Heads reporting to the VP UAS: Managers of Production and Flight Operations.
Requirements:
Work requires professional and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of the organization and to work effectively with a wide range of personalities. Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage serveral projects. This is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of an Engineering Degree and experience as a General Manager of a $50mm business unit in the Aerospace or Aerospace Defense Industry. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
