Job Description Summary: The Maintenance Controller is responsible for providing a single point of contact for maintenance issues and coordination with flight operations department so as to support our aviation maintenance functions worldwide, to include but not limited to: •OCONUS—Coordinate with the maintenance site lead mechanic to affect repairs in a timely manner by requisitioning or ordering repair material and parts, dispatching personnel from NC61 to support if necessary. May act as liaison between engineering and site supervisor. •CONUS—Coordinate with the flight crew in order to determine aircraft status and be responsible for making arrangements to return the aircraft to service utilizing the M.E.L. , outsourced maintenance, or by dispatching PAW personnel. •Coordinate travel requirements in support of AOG recovery personnel. •Review 12 month forecast for the fleet to determine the requirements for parts, materials, tooling, equipment and specialized services. •Requisition long lead time items via the computerized maintenance software. •Carry out subsequent forecast reviews at 180 and 90 days. •Review 60 and 30 day forecasts to ensure all required parts, materials, equipment, specialized services and adequate trained staff are available to complete the necessary work scope. •Post upcoming tasks to work orders when appropriate. •OCONUS—Support on-site maintenance lead with scheduling issues. •CONUS—Coordinate maintenance events with flight operations personnel and ensure that maintenance is performed within the hourly, calendar dates, etc. with minimal interference to scheduled missions. •Requisition and assist with the pre-positioning of parts for scheduled maintenance. •Follow up and monitor delivery of parts/materials for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. •Communicate with maintenance site leads at all bases and update the computerized maintenance software as tasks are completed. •Assist with Tech Log and data entry as needed. •Provide a two week scheduled maintenance forecast. •Provide a daily report of delays and cancellations due to maintenance. •Advise QA of any MRR/SDR/MISR events. •Perform other duties as assigned or required.

| Requirements: |
Required Education/Experience: •Minimum 5 years experience as an aircraft mechanic required. •Maintenance Control experience preferred. •Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills.•Excellent organizational and written skills. •Excellent verbal and communication skills with all levels of management. Licenses/Certifications:•Current FAA issued Mechanic certificate with both Airframe & Powerplant ratings is required.
